Managed Services and Outsourcing, 2010 Fads or Here to Stay?

As we head into 2011, one of the most popular offering our customers took advantage of in 2010 was our Managed Services offering.  It seems that as companies looked for ways to streamline their operations and  regulate their costs more effectively, that REMEDI's Managed Services offering helped them deliver a significant return on their investment.  Here at REMEDI we utilized outsourcing to offload some day-to-day operations and marketing responsibilities that just were not part of our core competencies and we saw some amazing results.

man_at_computerI am curious to see if managed services and outsourcing will continue to be viable solutions that companies will utilize to help their businesses in various ways.  As the economy continues to rebound in 2011 (I hope!), it will be interesting to see if companies will revert back to their pre-recession ways and bring more things back in house or if they will continue to turn to managed services and outsourcing as cost effective ways to maximize their budget spend.  At REMEDI, we plan on utilizing outsourcing even more in 2011 to take advantage of serious cost savings while improving our own internal bandwidth on doing what we like to do best, providing exceptional EDI and data integration services to our clients.

If you have any thoughts about your organization's intentions on taking advantage of managed services or outsourcing and the value that they provide, please feel free to drop me a note at shulme@remedi.com.  I hope everyone has a prosperous and healthy 2011.
